The prestigious Khanam Art Gallery, Prayagraj has been awarded the ‘Best Private Art Gallery’ for its outstanding contribution to the field of art. The honour was conferred at a grand ceremony held at the Gaiety Heritage Complex, Shimla.<\/p>\n

*Prof. Ashoke Roy*, Founder Director of *Bengal Art Foundation, Kolkata*, felicitated the gallery’s Director and eminent artist *Dr. Zaheda Khanam* with a *Certificate, Trophy, Momento, and Flower Bouquet*.<\/p>\n

The felicitation ceremony, held in the beautiful valleys of Shimla, was attended by artists, art critics, and art lovers from across the country. *Khanam Art Gallery* received this award for its remarkable contribution to *promoting Indian Contemporary Art, providing a platform to young artists, and preserving traditional styles like Miniature Painting*.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, *Prof. Ashoke Roy* said, _”The dedication with which Khanam Art Gallery has served art over the years is exemplary. Dr. Zaheda Khanam is not only a brilliant artist but also a visionary art patron. This award is a recognition of her commitment.”_<\/p>\n

After receiving the honour, *Dr. Zaheda Khanam* said, _”This award belongs to my entire team, associated artists, and art lovers. Receiving this award in the beautiful valleys of Shimla is an unforgettable moment for me. The objective of Khanam Art Gallery has always been to connect art and artists. This award increases our responsibility further.”_<\/p>\n

It is noteworthy that *Khanam Art Gallery, Prayagraj* has been organizing national and international art exhibitions, workshops, and art camps for over a decade. The gallery has provided a national platform to hundreds of emerging artists.<\/p>\n
