Why is the municipal administration silent despite repeated incidents of fire? Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) demands immediate removal of unauthorized constructions along with an investigation into the godowns**

Mumbai shrekesh Choubey:- Five godowns near Bhoir Compound on Diva-Sheel Road caught fire around 10 am today. This fire created an atmosphere of fear in the area. It was reported that the fire was brought under control by the fire brigade personnel around 2.30 pm. A total of five vehicles, two vehicles from the Sheel Fire Brigade and one water tanker, one vehicle from the Mumbra Fire Brigade and one vehicle from Diva Beat, were used to extinguish the fire.

Since there is a rag godown next to the said godowns, a thorough investigation is required to find out what exactly caused the fire. Information is also coming to light that two explosions occurred after the fire, and Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) party deputy district chief Adv. Rohidas Bama Munde has demanded an immediate investigation into what exactly caused these explosions, what items were stored in the godowns, and whether fire safety rules were followed.

Why is the municipal administration not taking this seriously when there are frequent incidents of fire in godowns in the Diva division? Why has no concrete action been taken against many godowns on the Diva-Sheel road despite constant allegations that they are unauthorized? Who exactly is protecting these godowns? Are there any financial interests behind the inaction of the concerned officials? These serious questions have been raised by Adv. Rohidas Munde. He also clarified that the answers to these questions should be presented to the public not only through accusations and counter-accusations, but also through fair investigations and official documents.

The municipal administration should immediately inspect the construction permits, usage permits, fire safety arrangements and necessary no-objection certificates of all the warehouses on Diva-Shil Road. Strict action should be taken as per the law against the warehouses that violate the rules and are found to be unauthorized and they should be removed. Also, a thorough investigation should be conducted into today’s fire incident to clarify the cause of the two explosions and action should be taken against the responsible persons and officials as per the rules, demanded Adv. Rohidas Bama Munde.

**While the lives and safety of the citizens of Diva city are being played with, the administration should not wait for another major accident. Immediate action should be taken against the unauthorized warehouses on Diva-Shil Road and concrete measures should be taken to prevent such incidents from happening in the future, demanded Adv. Rohidas Bama Munde.**
