To ensure that international developments do not adversely affect the nation\u2019s peace, law and order, economy, or social harmony, it can be said that India has handled its internal affairs with great sensitivity across several key fronts.<\/p>\n

By effectively monitoring social harmony and internal security, an ‘Atmanirbhar’ (self-reliant) India has succeeded in maintaining religious sensitivity and social cohesion. Amidst global upheavals\u2014such as conflicts in West Asia, the Russia-Ukraine war, and the unrest threatening peace and order across Europe\u2014the government has effectively kept a close watch on elements attempting to incite religious or social hatred within the country.<\/p>\n

The Government of India has focused on cybersecurity, ensuring that the public does not fall prey to ‘fake news.’ It has implemented control mechanisms to prevent citizens from being misled by false or exaggerated reports and inflammatory propaganda spread via social media, while simultaneously strengthening the nation’s cybersecurity infrastructure.<\/p>\n

To curb cross-border terrorism and the potential rise of domestic extremism, the government has fostered better coordination between intelligence agencies and local police, ensuring that the situation remains well under control.<\/p>\n
