Firing Incident at JV Jain Degree College: Police Begin Investigation

Saharanpur: On Wednesday morning, an unidentified youth fired two rounds in the air inside the premises of JV Jain Degree College, Saharanpur. The incident created panic on the campus, and the police immediately registered a case after taking prompt action.
SP City Vyom Bindal informed that based on the complaint from the guard and the college administration, a case has been registered against the unknown accused. Efforts are underway to identify the culprit using CCTV footage. Police claim that the accused will be arrested soon.
College Principal Vakul Bansal appealed to students to maintain peace. He said that necessary measures are being taken to strengthen the college’s security arrangements. Students have been advised not to pay attention to any rumours and to focus on their academic activities.
The incident has also raised questions regarding the security system of the college. It remains to be seen what actions the police and college administration take in this matter.
