Grand Celebration of Annual Function at Delhi Public School

Saharanpur: Delhi Public School, Saharanpur organized its annual function “Spardha,” where students from various classes showcased their exceptional sporting talent. On this occasion, students who performed brilliantly in the CBSE 2024–25 Class 10 and 12 examinations were also felicitated.
Chief Guest DIG Abhishek Singh presented trophies and medals to the winning participants. He said that sports play a vital role in our lives by teaching us inspiration, courage, and discipline. He added that sports instill teamwork, leadership, and cooperation—qualities essential for success in life. He encouraged students to focus equally on sports and academics, emphasizing that a balance of both helps one progress in life.
School Director Yusuf Ameen stated that sports are an effective means of building a better future. By adopting both sports and education together in life, one can achieve significant success.
The program witnessed the presence of school staff and a large number of students. Mayor Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh, City MLA Rajiv Gumber, Vice President Alan Cooper, Ranjit Mishra, Progressive Schools Society Coordinator Surendra Chauhan, and DPS Director Yusuf Ameen graced the event with their presence.
Students enthusiastically participated and displayed their talent through various performances. Awards and scholarships were also distributed during the ceremony. The students impressed everyone with their performances and brought glory to the school.
