Election Commission Keeps Close Watch: Review of Electoral Rolls in Saharanpur

Saharanpur. Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa today reviewed the Special Intensive Revision of Assembly Electoral Rolls in Saharanpur district. The review meeting was attended by Divisional Commissioner Rupesh Kumar, District Election Officer Manish Bansal, the Additional District Election Officer, and Electoral Registration Officers of all Assembly constituencies.
During the review, Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa stated that the Election Commission’s primary objective is to conduct elections in a fair and transparent manner, and all necessary measures are being taken to ensure this. He instructed the officials to perform their duties with full dedication and integrity and to take all required steps to ensure the smooth conduct of the electoral process.
The Chief Electoral Officer conducted a detailed review with the Electoral Registration Officers of all Assembly constituencies and issued necessary directions. He emphasized that photographs should be affixed to all enumeration forms lacking photographs and that extensive publicity should be undertaken to increase the number of Form-6 applications. He also directed officials to ensure adequate facilities at polling stations and to take all essential measures for the smooth functioning of the voting process.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Divisional Commissioner Rupesh Kumar presented a memento to Chief Electoral Officer Navdeep Rinwa. District Election Officer Manish Bansal expressed gratitude to the Chief Electoral Officer and thanked him for sensitizing district officials regarding their responsibilities.
